Role Purpose
We are seeking energetic, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic Speech & Language Therapists to join our CDNT and to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centred Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people (0 – 18 years) with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework.
The Speech and Language Therapist will join a well established SLT team on the CDNT and will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with complex needs and their families.
Professional clinical supervision will be provided.
Continuous Professional Development opportunities will be provided.

Essential Criteria
- Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
- Practitioners must maintain annual CORU registration.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working with children and adolescents with a range of disabilities.
- Practice with disorders of Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing (FEDS).
- Experience of inter-disciplinary team working.
- Evidence of participation in continuous professional development.
- Have a full driving licence and access to a car.

Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales. Salary Scale is Speech and Language Therapist €44,122- €63,154 inc. LSI per annum.
