Purpose Of Role
To support Consultants in the provision of care to patients in Western Health & Social care Trust.
Key Organisation Relationships:
The post holder will liaise with medical colleagues, nurses and other staff providing the range of services within the Trust.
The post holder will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Lead and clinically accountable to and reporting to his/her consultant.
Duties Of Post
The Successful Applicant will share the day-to day care of in-patients, participate in Consultant and MDT Ward Rounds, on Medical, Elective Surgical and Care of the Elderly wards, in addition to Consultations on other wards as appropriate to the discipline in which they are engaged.
General Duties
- Employees of the Trust will be required to promote and support the mission and vision of the service for which they are responsible.
- Develop and maintain good communication with all levels of management and build partnerships with the wider HPSS, NHS and external organisations in the promotion of the Trust.
- Carry out their duties and responsibilities in compliance with health and safety policy and statutory regulations.
- Participate in grievance and disciplinary processes as required.
